Requirements:
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ability to lead an environmental compliance program and provide expert consultation on environmental compliance products and services in the following program areas: petroleum storage tanks, spill prevention, control and countermeasures, facilities response planning, and storage tank management; 2) Ability to manage a staff of professionals including workload planning, distributing, coordinating, and monitoring work assignments of others; hiring and developing personnel; providing guidance; effecting disciplinary actions; evaluating and rewarding outstanding performance; 3) Experience developing or leading projects to execute and deliver environmental compliance products and services; 4) Experience working with federal, State, and local regulators, and other organizations, in order to represent the agency in environmental compliance topics; and 5) knowledge of the organization's financial processes/systems in regard to planning, programming, budgeting and execution in order to prepare, justify, and submit requirements for the environmental compliance program budget.
