Electromotive Equipment Mechanic (Supervisor)

About the position: This position will be assigned to the Community Services Flight, to the Manatee Cove Golf Course.

This position includes the opportunity to enroll in Health and Life Insurance, 401K and Retirement, Annual and Sick Leave.

This is a part-time position; guaranteed hours will be 20-34 per week.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience which demonstrates the applicant's ability to inspect, repair and replace components and accessories on electric golf carts, ability to use electrical test equipment and the ability to read and interpret parts manuals and manufacturer's repair manuals. Requires knowledge of personnel management principles and policies sufficient to supervise and direct staff. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds. May occasionally be required to lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds. Must be able to actively stand, bend, stoop and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Exposed to the possibility of cuts, bruises and electric shock. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). This is a drug testing designated position. This incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
