You will serve as a Electronics Technician (Air Traffic Control Systems) in the Air Operations Department of NAS KEY WEST.Requirements:
1) Reviewing technical airfield electronic work for compliance with regulations; 2) Troubleshooting and repairing airfield electronic equipment, air traffic control systems, radars, instrument approach systems, navigational aids, and communications systems to solve complex technical problems or improve system performance; 3) Evaluating equipment design to improve or enhance circuit and system operation; 4) Using applicable test equipment, test methods and practices as related to the air traffic control equipment and systems, including safety precautions; 5) Performing site certification of ATC and airfield landing systems; and 6) Applying knowledge of Naval Air Traffic Control, air navigation aids and landing systems.
