You will serve as a Mechanical Engineer in the Training Systems RDT&E Department (GT50000), Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) Division (GT56000) of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/11) or pay band (DP-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer. Specialized experience must include duties related to the following: 1) Analyzing customer requirements, developing conceptual design approaches, along with cost and lead time estimates and market research; 2) Preparing Statements of Work (SOW), specifications, technical proposal requirements, source selection plan, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL) and other acquisition package documents; 3) Reviewing design approach, participating in design reviews, being a member of Integrated Product Team(s), and monitoring contract progress; 4) Reviewing and developing test procedures, inspection and testing of training system, and reviewing and acceptance of contract deliverable items.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
