You will serve as a Mechanical Engineer in the Training Systems RDT&E Department (GT50000), Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) Division (GT56000) of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/11) or pay band (DP-03)in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Directing day-to-day technical activities of assigned engineers, technical subject matter experts, and professional acquisition teammates; 2) Providing technical expertise pertaining to complex training system product, managing requirements, developing resource cost estimates, and communicating technical issues to customers, contractors, and management; 3) Providing technical excellence with written and verbal recommendations to project management on numerous designated specialty areas; 4) Integrating systems engineering and subject-matter-expertise requirements, approaches, trade-offs, costs, schedule and risks as the consolidated technical input to the IPT; 5) Participating in the IPT acquisition planning meetings and developing the technical planning documentation.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
