Description:
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (CPPA) at the NAV SCHOOL EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL (NAVSCOLEOD).The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Prepare and maintain documents, records, files, and track suspense actions; 2) Utilize various software to edit reports, collect data, provide information, and track status of various projects; 3) Review and edit correspondence, and documents for correct grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation; 4) Utilize a variety of online systems to initiate and complete personnel transactions; and 5) Review travel requests and provide Defense Travel System (DTS) related training to employees, military staff and students.
