THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.This National Guard position is for a SECURITY SPECIALIST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number T6008000 and is part of the FL 125th FW, National Guard.

AREA OF CONSIDERATION : This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)", and is open to current on-board (Tenure 1, 2 and 3) US Federal employees interested in helping the Department of the Air Force meet our mission requirements as a Security Specialist.(Must upload the most recent SF50 to be consider)
FLNG BUS Code 8888: This position is "excluded" and ineligible for labor organization representation.
PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

NOTE : Must successfully complete all Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position in accordance with DOD 3305.13-M, DoD Security Accreditation and Certification.
NOTE: Must have a Secret clearance and eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP identifier.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS11: Must have at least one year experience at the GS-09 level in the normal line of progression through federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector; experience in research and analysis reports on physical, information, computer, and personnel security; experience in conducting intelligence support operations, procedures, and practices that are necessary to accomplish intelligence functions in support of programs essential to state National Guard daily operations, training, and readiness missions; experience implementing policies and procedures required to manage sensitive compartmented information programs and to protect sensitive compartmented information resources; experience which demonstrates knowledge as a technical specialist on sensitive compartmented information security matters, as well as, other areas of classified security and classification guidance
