Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Interpreting in a variety of communication modes for work related events; 2) Adopting to accents and regional differences in both English and American Sign Language (ASL); 3) Coordinating all interpreting service requests and creating schedules according to customer requirements; 4) Developing and conducting training on deaf culture and related issues for supervisors, managers, counselors and employees; 5) Assisting in the identification of barriers and the resolution of difficult communication problems between supervisors and deaf/hh employees.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
