You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Information Technology (IT) Department of NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Planning and managing projects to support Information Technology programs and services; 2) Planning, analyzing, managing, and justifying resource allocation for long-term strategic applications of IT concepts, principles, practices, and emerging technologies to improve an organization; 3) Preparing and presenting briefings and negotiations to senior management officials and non-technical personnel on complex/controversial technological issues; and 4) Organizing and directing the work for a variety of organizational disciplines for complex development of policies, goals, and procedures to support efficiency and timeliness of project goals.
