Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the screen out listed below.The Screen-out for this position is performing the following tasks:
1) Collecting, processing, and packaging hazardous wastes for temporary storage and disposal; 2) Operating manual and power lifting devices and motor vehicles to pick up, transport and store industrial waste or other types of hazardous waste; 3) Verifying identification labels are accurate with the correct information such as origin number, waste information, dates and type of waste; 4) Separating, combining and transporting hazardous chemicals and substances for the department; 5) Examining hazardous waste containers at generation sites for leakage and other indications of deterioration; and 6) Operating a database for processing, storing and shipping requirements.
