You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the Department of the Navy (DON) of NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manages the conception, creation, and editing, written, graphical, and/or visual information products for release, and verifies accuracy of content submitted and ensures compliance with all style guides, regulations, and policies; 2) Researches, evaluates, and briefs senior leaders on the success of content created; 3) Leads the development and evaluation of communication activities and events in support of DON missions; 4) Confirms communication activities, events and associated content are effectively coordinated, approved, scheduled, managed and evaluated; 5) Directs media relation activities for portfolios, including developing, coordinating, briefing talking points, producing and disseminating news releases and accompanying material).Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
