The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer position to serve as the Senior ART/Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Group Commander or Senior ART/CD, assigned to the 655 ISRW.

THIS IS AN AIR RESERVE TECHNICIAN OFFICER POSITION.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

**Salary ranges include local market supplements.**

This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Management/Supervision" work category are at the "Mission Management" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience overseeing the daily intelligence activities to include research, analysis, and interpretation of intelligence operational planning and decision making; expert knowledge of all-source intelligence planning, collection, analysis, and dissemination to include counter-intelligence, geospatial, imagery, human, signals, and measurement and signature intelligence. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
  1. Must be fully qualified and experienced intelligence officer, having operational experience in at least two of the below intelligence disciplines-Cyber ISR, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT/MASINT, All-Source Analysis/Fusion Analysis, Acquisition Intelligence, collection management, and dissemination, analytical production management, and dissemination.
  2. Knowledge of conducting Cyber ISR, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT/MASINT, All-Source Analysis/Fusion Analysis, Acquisition Intelligence, collection management, and dissemination, analytical production management, and dissemination.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of national, DoD, and U.S. Air Force statutory and regulatory policies, directives, and procedures relating to ISR activities.
  4. Must be highly knowledgeable in the capabilities, limitations, and techniques for employment of ISR platforms.
  5. Develops and articulates strategy and actions to implement the vision of the work unit that is consistent with organization's goals.
Conditions of Employment Continued:
  • This is an Air Reserve Technician Officer position. The incumbent is required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements. The incumbent's regular assignments are ART duties; however, the incumbent may be assigned some non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities. Work schedule will be aligned to allow incumbent to participate in unit training assemblies (UTA).
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week .

Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
