You will serve as a AEROSPACE ENGINEER (INSTRUCTOR) in the Naval School of Aviation Safety (NAVSCOLAVSAFE) of NAVSAFECOM.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional AEROSPACE ENGINEER (INSTRUCTOR). Specialized experience bust demonstrate the following:- Preparing and giving oral presentations, evaluating student work, preparing and administering learning courses, and providing key input to academic curricula.
- Serving as an expert and classroom instructor in fixed wing aerodynamics as it applies to aviation mishap investigations;
- Consulting on aeronautical engineering mishap reconstruction;
- Utilizing a mastery/advanced level knowledge of the theories and principals of aeronautical engineering, including rotary- and fixed-wing aerodynamics and aviation structures;
- Presenting briefs and academic papers at appropriate meetings and seminars for matters relating to aviation safety and mishap Investigation.
