Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Production/Audit Division of SOUTHEAST REG MAINTENANCE CTR SERMC.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • *Experience and knowledge of quality assurance concepts, operating principles, and methodology applicable to repair a new construction shipbuilding techniques to ensure the quality of products and services.
  • *Experience developing work packages, audits and direct inspection, establishing the inspection requirements for locally generated Controlled Work Packages (CWP) and Technical Work Directives (TWD).
  • *Experience and ability to make the correct interpretation and application of Intermediate Level Quality Assurance required by NAVSEA directives and higher-level instructions from Fleet and Type Commanders.
  • *Experience managing the Quality Assurance training program, which provides in-house training to SERMC personnel in surveillance inspection and audit techniques.
  • *Experience managing the examination and certification maintenance of SERMC Intermediate Level Quality Assurance personnel including Quality Assurance Inspector's (QAI), Controlled Material Petty Officer (CMPO) and Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS).
