You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Production/Audit Division of SOUTHEAST REG MAINTENANCE CTR SERMC.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- *Experience and knowledge of quality assurance concepts, operating principles, and methodology applicable to repair a new construction shipbuilding techniques to ensure the quality of products and services.
- *Experience developing work packages, audits and direct inspection, establishing the inspection requirements for locally generated Controlled Work Packages (CWP) and Technical Work Directives (TWD).
- *Experience and ability to make the correct interpretation and application of Intermediate Level Quality Assurance required by NAVSEA directives and higher-level instructions from Fleet and Type Commanders.
- *Experience managing the Quality Assurance training program, which provides in-house training to SERMC personnel in surveillance inspection and audit techniques.
- *Experience managing the examination and certification maintenance of SERMC Intermediate Level Quality Assurance personnel including Quality Assurance Inspector's (QAI), Controlled Material Petty Officer (CMPO) and Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS).
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
