Description:

This position will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation and is not guaranteed a set number of hours but can be scheduled 0 - 40 hours per week.
As a federal employee you will have access to all Hurlburt Field FSS facilities. After 1 year of employment, you will be eligible for the following benefits:

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
All the following qualifications are highly desirable; experience which provides a basic knowledge and understanding of outdoor recreation activities such as but not limited to FamCamp, Dive Shop, storage lots, and boat slip registration, etc; experience in resale operations; ability to type and use computer; experience in receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, and other processing of cash items when this includes direct handling of cash items, and use of cash accountability control methods. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing and be able to get along with others. Physical effort requires walking, standing, use of hands and arms, and lifting of outdoor equipment. Must be able to satisfactory complete a pre-employment physical. Successful completion of a Tier 1 background investigation with favorable results.
