You will serve as a Postal Operations Specialist (Official Mail Manager) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing technical, analytical and Postal Operations work that demonstrates a knowledge of mail management and postal operations in order to insure efficient operation of the organization. I have experience analyzing mail practices and determining requirements of a mail management program. I also have experience assisting in the training/inspecting other employees on mail center functions. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Analyze and track workload (volume/ type of mail), current mail handling procedures, and cost of operations; 2) Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices affecting mail distribution/ handling (e.g., street addressing, bar coding, etc.) for local application; 3) Perform a variety of postal duties including acceptance, screening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail (USPS, FEDEX, UPS, DHL and other premium carriers); and 4) Train and inspect official and personal mail programs ashore.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
