Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Engineer to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role requires working primarily off-shift and weekends, with occasional 12-hour shifts during storm duty. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, business acumen, and experience in real-time operations, infrastructure network storage, and application management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work primarily off-shift and weekends, with a start time generally at 5 PM after core business hours.
  • Cover 24/7 operations with a team of four individuals, focusing on the challenging hours from 5 PM to 7-8 AM and weekends.
  • Partner with the Real-Time Operations Control Center (ROCC) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Schedule and manage 8-hour shifts with flexibility, providing advance notice and working with team members on scheduling as needed.
  • Monitor the health of the environment and make real-time decisions based on power outages and other circumstances.
  • Collaborate with the real-time pod and application management services (AMS) team.

Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience as a Service Delivery Engineer in a support, network, or admin role.
  • Strong understanding of VIPs, load balancers, and cloud concepts, including different regions of the cloud.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow (SNOW) for running reports, data analysis, and managing events, alerts, incidents, and requests.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Organizational Change Management (OCM) processes.
  • Basic IT skills, including firewall rules, switches, and network topology.
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment.
  • Understanding of the build process.
