About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 45th Force Support Squadron, Fitness Center.
This is a regular full time category position. Scheduled hours will be 35 per week Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits. This position includes the opportunity to enroll in Health and Life Insurance, 401K and Retirement, Annual and Sick Leave.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Three years of specialized experience that demonstrated ability to plan, supervise, administer, and carry out a fitness and sports program that includes a variety of individual/team sports activities and to teach the techniques of various sports. A bachelor's degree or higher degree in physical fitness or sports/recreation related filed is desired. Must be able to get CPR/AED/Blood Bourne Pathogens/First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire. Ability to supervise, train and schedule subordinates. Strong interpersonal, administrative and computer skills are desirable. Must read, write and speak English fluently and be able to communicate effectively with patrons and co-workers. At times, will be required to work on an uncommon tour of duty to include nights, weekends, and holidays and will work rotating schedules. Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) if required.
