To qualify for the GS-07:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Assisting with human resources (HR) issues in accordance with HR regulations and procedures, i.e. reviewing Requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs) for accuracy and completeness, assisting HR Specialists with recruitment or processing of RPAs, etc.; 2) Responding to human resources questions, i.e., providing information or status on vacancy announcements or RPAs; and 3) Referencing HR materials such as manuals and regulations to ensure adherence to HR rules and regulations for processing personnel actions. To qualify for the GS-09 :
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07 ) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector sector 1) Applying recruitment and placement laws, regulations, policies, and practices to solve recruitment and placement issues; 2) Providing advice to managers on a variety of recruiting authorities to facilitate recruitment; 3) Advising managers and command personnel on the hiring process; and 4) Using electronic personnel databases, systems and reports.
