Description:

Requirements:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Inspects building and facilities to identify fire hazards and implement corrective actions; 2) Identifies hazardous conditions or practices, evaluates degree of hazard involved, and determines appropriate action to be taken; 3) Develops and conducts training course on fire safety practices and procedures (i.e. fixed and portable fire protection equipment, station fire prevention regulations, special hazardous operations/conditions, home and/or work practices, etc.) for military and civilian employees, contractors, and dependents; 4) Provides guidance to supervisors, employees, and the general populace on fire safety and fire protection. NOTE: This experience must be supported by your resume

This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor I, and HAZMAT Awareness, Firefighter I and Firefighter II. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFAC, or ProBoard to meet the requirement. If you do not possess all of the above certifications and you have not attached copies of your certifications, you will be rated ineligible
