This position is located at Unaccompanied Housing at NAS Pensacola. The purpose of this position is to provide on-site facility coordination and management for Unaccompanied Housing, operations consisting of 1500+ beds.

Specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Qualifying experience must have been equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- A combination of experience and education is required. The incumbent must have a minimum of three years of experience in a position related to facility / maintenance management, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Requires 24 months of work experience that demonstrates knowledge of the basic principles, concepts, standards, and regulations of customer service.
- Ideally possess knowledge of Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) policies and standards including safety, environmental and fire prevention regulations and practices.
- The incumbent is given a wide latitude in exercising independent initiative and judgment in the execution of duties and responsibilities related to building management.
- Knowledge of agency management procedures and general business practices related to the management and utilization of government housing facilities and quarters.
- Incumbent is sufficiently knowledgeable of building management functions. Receives general guidance, advice and suggested techniques for handling unusual, non-recurring situations from UH Manager or Housing Installation Program Manager (HIPM).
- Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer, Microsoft Office applications.
- Must possess basic math and reading skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
