THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTER(TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2320000 and is part of the FL 125th FW, National Guard.
Requirements:
AREA OF CONSIDERATION : This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709", and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category. First consideration will be given to Category 1.
PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

Military Grades : Enlisted; E1 thru E5
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must have experience or training which demonstrates the ability to set up and operate test equipment, use test apparatus to apply tests to material or products, record readings, observe and record established reactions, and classify according to defined categories.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : WG10 Must have at least 1 year of specialized experience or training in using ultrasonic and/or eddy current inspection techniques to observe, measure, and detect discontinuities and flaws; experience classifying test results, identifying material deficiencies, and recommending courses of action for items of equipment; experience recommending engine components to be inspected and forwarding results to the appropriate authority; experience performing scheduled inspections of testing equipment ensuring compliance with established technical regulations and procedures.
