Description:

The primary responsibility of this position is provide assistance to the Support Service Section of the United States Attorney's Office.

Requirements:

For the GS-5: Applicants must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in Federal service or 4 years of education above high school. Specialized experience is defined as experience: working in an office greeting visitors and/or answering phones calls; sorting and delivering incoming mail; maintaining and stocking supply room; and preparing various documents using word processing software.

For the GS-6: Applicants must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 grade level in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience: working in an office greeting visitors and operating a multi-line telephone system; handling mail services including processing all incoming and outgoing mail; ordering office supplies from various vendors, and preparing various documents using word processing software.

For the GS-7: Applicants must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 grade level in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience: working in an office greeting visitors and operating a multi-line telephone system; handling mail services including processing all incoming and outgoing mail; ordering office supplies from various vendors, and preparing various documents using word processing software.To be qualified, you must type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. (A typing test may later be required.)

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. If your agency has notified you in writing that you are a displaced employee eligible for ICTAP consideration, you may receive selection priority if: 1) this vacancy is within your ICTAP eligibility; 2) you apply under the instructions in the announcement; and 3) you are found well-qualified for this vacancy.
