You will serve as a FACILITY MANAGER in the FACILITIES DIVISION of SOUTHEAST REG MAINTENANCE CTR SERMC.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience providing relevant and accurate briefings to senior executive staff on matters affecting the facilities support services.
- Experience identifying maintenance and repair needs, problems, and operating principles of building systems, equipment including utility systems for a large facility.
- Experience identifying needs and developing actions plans, milestones, and goals with recommendations for resolution of problems.
- Experience providing administrative services for the maintenance, repair, or modification of facilities.
- Experience managing a preventative maintenance program for all major infrastructure supporting systems.
- Experience assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments and capabilities of employees.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
