PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (TITLE 5)

Description:

This National Guard position is for a PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (TITLE 5), Position Description Number T5913000and is part of the FL 125th FW, National Guard.

Requirements:

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)", and is open to current on-board (Tenure 1, 2 and 3) US Federal employees interested in helping the Department of the Air Force meet our mission requirements as a, Physician Assistant.

PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

Recruitment / Relocation: Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

FLNG BUS Code 8888: This position is "excluded" and ineligible for labor organization representation.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : GS-12 Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-11 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience in a military or civilian air traffic facility that demonstrated possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the full management level of work of the specialization for which application is made; experience must have provided a comprehensive knowledge of providing information to pilots on such matters as weather, air routes, navigational aids, and airport conditions before and during flight; issuing control instructions and advice to pilots in the vicinity of airports to assure proper separation of aircraft and to expedite their safe and efficient movement; controlling aircraft operating enroute along the airways to assure proper separation and safe and expeditious movement of such aircraft.
