This position is located at the Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Program at NAS Pensacola consisting of 2000+ beds. The purpose of this position is to analyze and interpret operations data to assist the Unaccompanied Housing Manager in properly managing resources for the installation Unaccompanied Housing Program. Meeting operating goals and ensuring adequate and timely services to residents.

Specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Qualifying experience must have been equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • The incumbent must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a position related to a housing/apartment /lodging operation, with at least 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Must understand the daily operation of housing operations to include safety, environmental and fire prevention regulations and practices; housing management procedures; and front desk, custodial, and maintenance operating principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of personnel policy and practices to handle human resources requirements in a government environment (e.g., recruitment, performance management, evaluation, etc.).
  • Knowledge of associated laws, regulations, and policies used by the DoD, Department of the Navy (DON) and other U.S. government agencies to effectively manage individuals and teams in the workplace.
  • Knowledge of techniques to mentor, motivate and coach subordinate employees and skill in leadership practices.
  • Knowledge of CNIC's EEO policy and procedures
  • The incumbent must possess excellent communication skills and must possess fluent command of the English language, understand and use proper grammar, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
  • Incumbent must be able to use and/or operate basic computer software such as; Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and have a working knowledge of the property management system.
  • Skills in developing directives, instructions, and procedures concerning the occupancy and utilization of Unaccompanied Housing facilities; conducting inspections and audits to identify project efficiencies; determining the impact of repairs, improvements, or other corrective measures; coordinating and scheduling or implementing the work with other organizational activities.
  • Must be able to understand and utilize basic military policies and regulations related to coordinating the planning, funding, construction
