The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.You will serve as an Alternate Quality Manager in the Quality Control Inspection Division, Compliance & Quality Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Possessing Advanced Calibration Training (Navy/Marine Corps or equivalent USAF or other DoD); 2) Maintaining a Quality Management System; 3) Analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring the performance of a Calibration Laboratory to identify deficiencies and trends, and implement corrective actions; 4) Applying knowledge of electronic theory and principles to duties involved in selection and use of measuring equipment; and 5) Referring to local instructions to implement the requirements of the program in a depot Calibration Laboratory.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
