This position is located in Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate, Fraud Detection and National Security Division, FDNS SOUTHEAST REGION.

As a Supervisory Immigration Officer , you will supervise Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS) Immigration Officers who identify fraud, trends and patterns through complex analyses and investigation and carry out policies and procedures governing the execution of immigration programs.

Requirements:

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 09/24/2025.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 09/24/2025.
GS-14 : You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
  • Providing technical and administrative guidance to a staff of officers engaged in programs administering the Immigration and Nationality Act (such as Adjudications, Inspections, Investigations, and Port-of-Entry or Border Protection).
  • Oversees the daily operations of goals, objectives and employees involved in fraud detection and national security.
  • Establishing and maintaining liaison with management and government officials.
  • Analyzing issues and implementing projects related to the establishment of program goals and objectives.
  • Establishing long-range workplans and determining the actions necessary to accomplish those objectives.
