You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ARCHITECT in the Planning, Design, and Construction Directorate of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.Requirements:
This position has a Selective Placement Factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The Selective Placement Factor is: You must currently be a Registered Architect (RA) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Do you meet this requirement? ***NOTE: A copy of your current license/registration showing the expiration date MUST be submitted with your application in order to be considered for this position. A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement.In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying advanced architectural theories, concepts, principles and practices to provide innovative recommendations in architectural design; 2) Executing significant projects representing an important segment of the agency's facilities programs; 3) Providing consultations on architectural design and construction for complex facilities; 4) Coordinating various engineering and architecture disciplines to deliver advisory services accomplishing cost effective, high-quality design and construction activities; 5) Acting as discipline specific (architect) Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the agency by whom you have been employed; and 6) Serving as a supervisor for diverse and highly technical architects.
