Description:

Performs a full range of services such as assisting customers, answering phones, verifying patron eligibility, providing information on facility operations, taking special orders, taking payment for services, resolving routine complaints, and any other customer service-related duties or transactions.

The below experience is desired, but not required.

  • Basic knowledge of business mathematics, with experience or training in cash handling, operating a POS system or cash register, and adding machine is highly desired.
  • Must be able to become familiar with, and have an understanding of, MWR policies, orders and regulations.
  • Six (6) months of experience or training in special order operations, with technical knowledge of services and merchandise availability is desired.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
