You will serve as a Fleet Support Team (FST) Site Director in the Fleet readiness Center Southeast Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Directing and monitoring the strategic objectives for an aircraft platform to include the budgetary, staffing, logistics and engineering plans to ensure all quality, cost and scheduling requirements are met; 2) Evaluating alternative options to resolve complex and multi-faceted issues across administrative, logistics and engineering disciplines to eliminate bottlenecks, decrease costs and improve fleet readiness; 3) Determining staffing and training requirements to effectively manage human resource needs throughout an organization, providing technical and administrative guidance to supervisor and command officials of varying levels of authority; 4) Preparing and defending recommendations for changes related to logistics operations, engineering designs, program budgets and the development of new products or work methods through written and oral presentations in conferences with first-line supervisors and command executives; 5) Monitoring short term and multi-year plans to incorporate changes made in policy, technological advances, availability of financial resources, and workload prioritization to make adjustments that directly impact the overall effectiveness of an aircraft platform.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
