Description:
You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (EOD) in the TRAINING DEPARTMENT of NAV SCHOOL EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following: 1) Conducting training on Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) to personnel; 2) Evaluating students' progress on EOD training; 3) Developing solutions to EOD instructional issues; and 4) Identifying training resources required (e.g., facilities, instructors, supplies) to implement an EOD training program.
