This position is located in Tampa, Florida.
Requirements:
GS-6: To be eligible at the GS-6 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in Federal service.Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience include: assisting higher level budget analysts in monitoring a unit's operating budget; preparing routine payments, running recurring reports, and inputting data into an automated financial management system; reviewing documents with financial implications to ensure they are accurate and complete; and maintaining a file system for payments and invoices.
GS-7: To be eligible at the GS-7 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level in Federal service.
Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level in Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience include: performing analysis of financial data to determine trends in obligations and expenditures and recommending budget changes as required; resolving routine budget inquiries; reconciling costs/accounts on a scheduled basis; preparing invoices and other fiscal items for payment; noting, clarifying, and correcting financial discrepancies; reviewing budget estimates for obvious omissions, format incompleteness or inaccurate data; and entering obligations, amendments, deliveries and all actions into an automated financial management system.
Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. If your agency has notified you in writing that you are a displaced employee eligible for ICTAP consideration, you may receive selection priority if: 1) this vacancy is within your ICTAP eligibility; 2) you apply under the instructions in the announcement; and 3) you are found well-qualified for this vacancy.
