About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Information Technology.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Possess & maintain DoD approved Information Assurance baseline certification or understand that completion of training & certification must be completed within 6 months of appointment. Experience using the fundamental capabilities and functions of IT network architecture, topology and protocols used in installing and administering network services. Must have experience configuring/Installing and maintaining network switches/routers/firewalls/servers and wireless controllers/access points. Individual must be able to communicate clearly when providing technical support to users. Must possess the skills necessary to communicate IT-related processes clearly and effectively using both oral and written. Must be physically able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
