You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the NAVY FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES of NAS JAX.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Leading day to day operations for assigned shift providing guidance on firefighter related procedures;2) Conducting Firefighting operations across structural, shipboard, and/or airfield environments, utilizing pre-incident planning and comprehensive understanding of layouts and design;3) Operating firefighting emergency vehicles and equipment;4) Delivering hazardous material emergency response services;5) Providing basic life support interventions during emergency responses.**NOTE: This experience must be supported by your resume.**
***This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Fire Fighter I & II, Airport Firefighter, Airport Rescue Firefighting (ARFF), Apparatus Driver-Operation for Pumper, HAZMAT Incident Commander, Fire Officer II, Fire Inspector I, Fire Instructor I, CPR and First Responder First Aid and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Life Support (NREMT-B). These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. If you do not possess all of the above certifications and you have not attached copies of your certifications, you will be rated ineligible
