FINANCIAL MANAGER

Description:

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGER in the COMPTROLLER DIVISION of COMNAVREG SE JAX.

This position is a Temporary Promotion not to exceed 3 Years. This position may be extended at 1 Year increments up to a total of 5 Years. Position may be made permanent without further competition. Management has the right to terminate the promotion before the NTE date.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Performing financial management and/or managerial functions to support program planning/execution; 2) Justifying an agencies budget to support time honored financial goals; 3) Overseeing financial resources of an organization such as budget, accounting, internal auditing, and/or management analysis; 4) Advising management officials on funding, manpower, financial policies, and/or strategies. This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
