Description:

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION/RECRUITMENT) in the Command Operations Department, Human Capital Management Division (HCMD) of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Requirements:

For the GS-12 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a wide range of personnel management theories, concepts, principles, laws, rules and regulations related to compensation and position classification to identify interrelated problems, draw conclusions, and apply the appropriate course of action; 2) Advising management with solutions involving highly complex human resources issues primarily in position and organizational development issues in a timely matter; 3) Performing job analysis efforts to develop qualification requirements and applicant evaluation techniques consistent with OPM qualification criteria to determine the best qualified applicants; 4) Drafting position descriptions and applying OPM classification standards consistent with sound classification practices; 5) Developing, modifying, and conducting training in position classification and staffing policies and procedures for management officials, HR practitioners, and/or other stakeholders.

For the GS-11 Level:
