Description:

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Naval Education and Training Command of NET SEC ASTFLD ACT.

Requirements:

GS-12 ONLY: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of complex financial regulations, accounting decisions and policy standards; 2) Managing and analyzing various types of appropriations; 3) Creating and interpreting reports and data to ensure the integrity, timeliness and accuracy of funds and financial obligations; and 4) Communicating both verbally and in writing effectively.

GS-11 ONLY: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and applying federal financial policies and regulations to ensure compliance with program requirements; 2) Reviewing and researching financial transactions and supporting documentation for contract, budget reconciliation, or similar purposes; 3) Generating financial spreadsheets and drawing conclusions for reports to management with limited supervision; and 4) Coordinating records review and funding requirements in accordance with financial instructions and regulations.
