You will serve as a FOREIGN MILITARY ASSISTANCE SPECIALIST/ COUNTRY PROGRAM MANAGER (CPM) of NET SEC ASTFLD ACT.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing education and training programs for foreign countries; 2) Communicating to countries in a manner that ensures efficient administration of training programs; 3) Experience communicating directly with echelon II commands; 4) Maintaining country training programs in the Defense Security Assistance Management System or similar systems; 5) Review program compliance with the intent of policies, procedures and regulations.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
