Description:

You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Industrial Logistics Division, MRO-Logistics Department of Fleet Readiness Center Southeast.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
  • Having a thorough knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to FRCSE operations and technical program requirements, including experience in handling supplies to ensure continuous support for production.

  • Executing the review and editing of material requirements for assigned work centers including screening Pre-Expended Bins (PEB), Quantity Per Assembly (QPA), effectivity, and p-part accuracy of the requirement and solving complex problems using existing instructions and process guides.

  • Verifying all requirements within assigned work center for status and receipt of material(s) prior to completion of work orders and making recommendations to Lead IMS and S-LMS/JLT Lead changes in schedules, routing, and processes when deemed appropriate.

  • Reviewing open documents and work order requirements prior to completion/sale of work orders and ensuring that any documents unable to be canceled are tracked and delivered successfully when receipted by DLA.

  • Providing Supply Support to the applicable Work Center and Production areas, either independently or as part of a larger effort to ensure the Master Production Schedule is met within the constraints of sound business practices and economy of operations.
