You will serve as an Acquisition Program Specialist (Alternate APC) in the Acquisition and Procurement Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Reviewing draft package documentation received from customers in order to revise and finalize for contract readiness, such as draft documentation, includes but is not limited to Statement of Work or Performance Work Statement, Independent Government Cost Estimate, and quote(s); 2) Serving as customer liaison between contractor, contracting officer, internal Government customers, commercial vendors, and Defense Finance Accounting Service to resolve discrepancies and/or disputes on invoice payments; 3) Assisting with implementation and adhering to Government Purchase Card procedures; 4) Analyzing, evaluating, and completing a cost break-down on all vouchers/invoices; 5) Monitoring and reviewing all contract invoice discrepancies to improve processes and procedures and to develop and recommend strategies for achieving program goals.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
