You will serve as a Supervisory Firefighter of NAS KEY WEST.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing command and control of emergency incidents; 2) Leading day to day operations for assigned shift providing guidance on firefighter related procedures; 3) Fighting structural, shipboard, and/or airfield fires using pre-fire planning methods and knowledge of layouts and design; 4) Operating firefighting emergency vehicles and equipment; 5) Providing hazardous material incident response; and, 6) Providing basic life support procedures as needed for each emergency call. This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Airport Firefighter, Firefighter I/II, Fire Officer II, Fire Instructor I, Fire Inspector I, Apparatus Driver-Operator for Pumper, Driver-Operator for Airport Rescue Firefighting (ARFF), Apparatus Driver/Operator - Aerial, Hazardous Materials Technician, Hazardous Materials Operations, Hazardous Materials- Incident Command and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT-B). These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. If you do not possess all of the above certifications, you will be rated ineligible.***
