You will serve as an AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS INSPECTOR in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST MAINTENANCE REPAIR OVERHAULPRODUCTION DEPTARTMENT PRODUCTION LINES DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.Requirements:

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION
1) Performing daily, pre-flight, turnaround, post-flight and special inspections in accordance with checklists and forms; 2) Analyzing flight discrepancies and effects necessary repairs to ready aircraft for flight or ready for transfer; 3) Operating ground support equipment such as air compressors, generators, gas turbine air starters, hydraulic test units, and ground air conditioning units; 4) Performing operational checks of engines, control surfaces, and systems indicators by observing performance of aircraft during functional check of each mechanical and electrical system; 5) Determining work assignments for other personnel assigned to complete overhaul assignments.
