About the position: This position is located at the Arts and Crafts Center of the 6th Force Support Squadron Community Services Flight, MacDill AFB, FL.
Requires walking, standing and considerable bending, kneeling and stooping. Strenuous physical exertion is sometimes required. May lift and move materials up to 40 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must have some experience in woodworking techniques, basic knowledge of materials and their applications. Must be able to demonstrate the basic use and operation of various woodworking power tools such as: table saw, radial saw, surface planer jointer, band saw, and chopper. Must possess skills in basic shop mathematics. Must be able to work with staff and the public in a professional manner. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
