About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Facility.This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week. Must be able to life and carry objects weighing 40 pounds or more.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have working experience or knowledge of the recreational activities, rules & procedures as related to the particular activity in which they are assigned. Progressively responsible experience in clerical duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items and (2) use of cash account- ability control methods. Applicant must have the ability to interpret & apply rules, regulations &policies. Skill in the maintenance & use of various types of recreational equipment & facilities is desirable. Must be able to operate a personal computer. Must possess a current CPR & First Aid certification or become certified within 45 days of employment. Must have a valid Florida driver's license. Must have ability to communicate effectively both orally & in writing and present a professional image. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to lift objects weighing 40 pounds or more. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty to include weekends and some holidays. Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). The incumbent is subject to random drug testing.
