Description:

You will serve as an Aircraft Systems Inspector Supv I in the FRCSE Jacksonville of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: The Ability to Lead and Supervise performing duties such as:

1) Supervising employees performing final aircraft systems tests, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs of aircraft systems;

2) Training subordinates in proper work methods, use of equipment and safe practices;

3) Determining priorities of work and assigning work to subordinates based on their capabilities and availability;

4) Planning daily/weekly sequence of work operations for subordinates;

5) Interpreting and applying the requirements contained in technical manuals, shop directives, blueprints and preparing layouts and sketches as necessary.
