This position will be assigned to SoundSide Club and is not guaranteed a set number of hours but can be scheduled 0 - 40 hours per week. As a federal employee you will have access to all Hurlburt Field FSS facilities. After 1 year of employment, you will be eligible for the following benefits:- 12 weeks Paid Parental Leave

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
No previous experience or training is required; however previous wait staff/banquet experience is highly desirable. Must be able to follow simple oral instructions, prepare checks for patrons, make simple mathematical computations, and be able to follow cash handling procedures. Must be physically able to stand, stoop, bend and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical examination. Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. Must be able to communicate with customers and possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation with favorable results.
