The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor without more than normal supervision performing duties such as:1) Planning a variety work plans for trade practices (e.g., electrical, pipefitting, plumbing, or HVAC repair) to complete the installation, modification and repair of facility equipment; 2) Demonstrating the ability to make routine decisions regarding execution of policy which has been interpreted or established by the next higher level; and 3) Providing immediate supervision to non-supervisory shop personnel in several related trades by planning, assigning and directing work, training subordinates, initiating personnel actions, requisitioning tools, materials and equipment, enforcing disciplinary and safety regulations and good housekeeping practices, and performing related duties.
