Description:
This position is in the Operations Division, Operations Branch, Office of Aviation, Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL/A). INL/A is a multi-mission, multi-country operation providing aviation support for a variety of missions to include transportation, interdiction, eradication, law enforcement operations, and counter-terrorism operations.

Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience coordinating aircraft and personnel deployments to Outside the Continental United States narcotics source countries to carry out counter-narcotics/counterterrorism mandate. Experience developing operational tactics and techniques and procedures to support aviation operational requirements. Experience overseeing the operations, training, and safety for an aviation program assets providing air movement support in two specific areas: fixed wing and/or rotary wing non-tactical air transportation for personnel and cargo, and tactical rotary wing aviation support.There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
