You will serve as a Traffic Management Specialist in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Traffic Management Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-7) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a general knowledge of a wide range of traffic management and transportation policies, principles and methodology in response to problems relating to customer trouble calls, on-site and telephone inspections , quality assurance actions, and Transportation Service Provider (TSP) requirements relating to household goods . Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Explaining personal property entitlements and processes to customers; 2) Ensuring compliance with entitlements established in the Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JFTR), Defense Transportation Regulations (DTR), and additional guidance provided by NAVSUP; 3) Possessing working knowledge of the Defense Travel System; and 4) Applying knowledge to assist in development of operational procedures and guidelines.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
